Troubleshoot an AI Rap Video Task Before Paying for a Retry (2026)
Check a failed AI rap video task: fix portrait upload errors, distinguish pending status from failure, review credit reversals and contact support.
If an AI rap video has not appeared, return to the rap video generator or the task in My creations before submitting another attempt. An upload error, a pending task, a failed status check and a confirmed generation failure are different situations. The next useful step depends on the message attached to the existing task, rather than on how long you have been waiting.
This guide explains those distinctions and where to ask for help. For the short version, see the failure FAQ and refund FAQ. A confirmed technical failure can qualify for website-credit restoration; that is different from a monetary refund of a credit-pack purchase. Starting a new generation is a separate quoted task, so check the first attempt before paying again.
1. Check whether the portrait was accepted
If the uploader reports a file problem, address that specific message first. The template workflow accepts JPG, PNG and WebP images up to 10 MB, with a shortest side of at least 512 pixels. It rejects images above 40 megapixels and animated WebP. Use a supported original image rather than renaming the file extension or submitting the same invalid file repeatedly.
Each portrait slot needs the intended adult reference, and a duo needs both requested photos. Check the slot previews before submitting. Follow the photo-permission requirements and do not upload portraits of minors. If the image cannot be used or a safeguard rejects the request, switching to a permitted reference is different from trying to bypass the restriction. Read the Acceptable Use Policy before choosing another input.
2. Review sign-in, consent and the quote
Generation requires sign-in, the requested image inputs, photo permissions, an available template and a valid quote covered by the account balance. Review these conditions in the creator. If you return from signing in, confirm that the intended photos and quality settings were restored. A browser draft is a preparation aid; inspect it before submitting instead of assuming it still contains the correct image.
If the quote has expired, refresh it and read the current amount. If generation is unavailable, buying more credits does not make that template ready. If the balance is insufficient, compare the quote with Pricing before making a purchase. The credits guide explains why pack size and the cost of a particular generation are separate numbers.
3. Distinguish pending work from a confirmed failure
Read the task's current state. The interface can show work preparing, rendering, queued or still being checked. A temporary network error while asking for status does not prove that the provider stopped processing the request. Likewise, an uncertain submission needs its outcome checked before it is treated as failed. Submitting another paid attempt immediately may create another task rather than repair the original one.
Keep the existing task identifier and check its status in My creations. The application has recovery paths for unresolved task and refund states, but this does not supply a guaranteed completion time. If a task remains unresolved, send its identifier and the displayed message to Help. Do not infer that the task is free, refunded or safe to replace solely because a browser status request failed.
Keep a useful record of the issue
Note the template, quality setting, creation time, task identifier and message shown on screen. If the issue concerns a purchase, keep the order identifier separately. These details let support distinguish a generation question from a balance or payment question. Do not include passwords, complete card numbers, security codes or unrelated sensitive information in a support message.
4. Understand failed-task credit restoration
A confirmed technical generation failure qualifies for a reversal of the deducted website credits. The application records refund intent and reconciles the credit ledger; a temporary fault during that process can require recovery. Check the task and refreshed balance. If the failure is confirmed but the expected restoration is missing, contact support with the task identifier so the credit record can be reviewed.
Content-safety and copyright rejections do not qualify for a credit reversal under the current rule. The Refund Policy explains that distinction and preserves review of billing errors and mandatory consumer remedies. A credit reversal restores usage units on the website. It is not a promise that the original credit-pack payment has also been sent back to a card or another payment method.
5. Review a successful result before generating again
A finished video can differ from the reference portrait or preview in appearance, clothing, movement and sound. Watch the whole clip and listen to its audio. An expression or creative choice you dislike is not automatically a confirmed technical failure. The service does not guarantee an exact likeness or preservation of every original element. The Terms explain these limits alongside your rights concerning the service supplied.
If you choose another attempt, review the new portrait, template, quality and quote first. A clearer reference or a different scene may be the change you want, but a new submission remains a separate task. For a missing, corrupt, unplayable or materially non-conforming result, report the issue for review rather than assuming that all delivered files fall under ordinary artistic variation.
6. Retry a failed download without buying another render
If the task succeeded but saving the file failed, use the download control for that existing result again. The generator provides a download error state separately from generation failure. You do not need to request another generation merely to try downloading the successful task. Check the saved MP4 in your own player once the download completes.
Download results you want to keep: the service is not a permanent archive, and media links may become unavailable. If the existing result remains inaccessible, contact Help with its identifier and the download message. Keep this separate from an issue with the creative result; an inaccessible file and an unwanted facial expression call for different reviews.
7. Separate purchase refunds from generation retries
For a credit-pack purchase question, read the Refund Policy and provide the order details. The policy describes voluntary refunds of eligible unused purchases, review of pending tasks and separate handling of billing errors or service problems. A successful credit reversal for one failed task does not automatically refund the purchase itself. Monetary-refund review and payment-provider settlement also have different timelines.
After the original issue is resolved, follow the photo-to-video walkthrough to check the next attempt's inputs. Return to the generator to review your template and current quote before submitting a new rap video.
